the Government of the Commonwealth of Dominica (gcod) Has Received Financing From the Caribbean Development Bank (cdb) in An Amount Equivalent to Seven Hundred and Forty-nine Thousand, Six Hundred and Nineteen United States Dollars (usd749,619) Towards the Cost of the ‘enhancing Sustainability and Resilience of the Agriculture Sector in the Commonwealth of Dominica’ Project and Intends to Apply a Portion of the Proceeds of This Financing to Eligible Payments Under a Contract for Which This Invitation is Issued. Payments By Cdb Will Be Made Only at the Request of Gcod and Upon Approval By Cdb and Will Be Subject in All Respects to the Terms and Conditions of the Financing Agreement. the Financing Agreement Prohibits Withdrawal From the Financing Account for the Purpose of Any Payment to Persons Or Entities, Or for Any Import of Goods, If Such Payment Or Import, to the Knowledge of Cdb, is Prohibited By a Decision of the United Nations Security Council Taken Under Chapter Vii of the Charter of the United Nations. No Party Other Than Gcod Shall Derive Any Rights From the Financing Agreement Or Have Any Claim to the Proceeds of the Financing.
the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Blue and Green Economy, the Executing Agency, Now Wishes to Procure Consultancy Services for An Agro-processing Specialist. the Objective of the Consultancy is to (a) Revise the Agricultural Disaster Risk Management (adrm) Plan and Finalize the Draft Agricultural Transformation Roadmap Finalised to Address Gaps in Current Programmes and Strategies. and Disaster Risk Management and Climate Change Considerations Integrated Into the Budgeting and Implementation of Sub-sector Programs. (b) Assess the Readiness of Agricultural Sector Agencies to Implement Cc and Disaster Risk Reduction Strategies with Necessary Tools Identified as Well as Legislative Changes, to Determine the Extent of Mainstreaming National Disaster Risk Management (ndrm) Within Dominica's Agricultural Sector. (c) Develop Tailored Model Farm Disaster Risk Management (fdrm) Plans for Protected Agricultural Systems, Fisheries, and Livestock. the Duration of the Assignment is Expected to Be 25 Working Days Over the Period of Six Months.
