the Government of Republic of Rwanda Has Received a Loan From the African Development Bank as Additional Financing to Muvumba Multipurpose Water Resources Development Program (mmwrdp) to Support the Implementation of the Irrigation Subproject – Phase I, Under the Coordination of the Rwanda Water Resources Board (rwb).
the Development Objective of Additional Financing (af) to Mmwrdp is to Scale Up the Program By Constructing a Climate-resilient Irrigation System Covering 3,073 Ha of Agricultural Land to Increase Agricultural Productivity and Enhance Food and Nutrition Security of the Targeted Beneficiaries in the Program Area. the Specific Objectives Include Developing Irrigation Infrastructure, Capacitating Farmers to Utilize Modern Farming Technologies, Etc.
