The project involves the planning, design, construction, testing, commissioning, certification, and validation of a Biosafety Level-3 (BSL-3) Laboratory with a ground plus one floor structure. The scope includes obtaining local body approvals, environmental impact assessments, and consultancy services for architectural, structural, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works. It also covers the supply and installation of modular prefabricated wall and ceiling panels, epoxy flooring, plumbing, sanitary installations, internal roads, parking facilities, and various utility systems such as water supply, stormwater drains, and sewerage systems. Additionally, it includes the installation of electrical systems, fire alarm and firefighting systems, lifts, air conditioning systems, and security systems. The contractor is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the facility for five years, including annual maintenance during a three-year defect liability period and two years of comprehensive maintenance. Biosafety Level-3 Laboratory equipment, prefabricated wall panels, prefabricated ceiling panels, epoxy flooring, electrical installations, fire alarm systems, firefighting systems, lifts, air conditioning systems, CCTV, access control systems, ETP equipment, and street lighting.
